Hello everyone! A few showers early days, but good news and new developments for this new ♦ PARTNERSHIP WITH THE STUDDED PASS STORE
me great pleasure to announce that the The workshop and store Bridges Fine Arts Passage zebra are now partners!
In developing the magazine and one of the workshop, we will make students a workshop card.
Suffice it to show it to each of your parts on hand for a discount of -10% on all purchases (valid for the duration of your subscription within the workshop and on all stock! ! (paint, brushes, mediums, frames, framing, books etc. ...)
And crosswalk decided to spoil us even more, a discount of 10% will be offered to each participant at the end of a course which you have participated.
And that's not all! (when I tell you, they have decided to pamper students in the workshop!)

Abstract art is opposed to figurative painting, it focuses on emotions, textures, composition, colors, light ...
Far from academic painting, abstract art does not try to represent the world realistically, but with more emotion to forge a relationship with the viewer; It breaks with the world of appearances.
Abstract art shows to solve puzzles and tries to raise emotions by revealing the existence of realities.
Each artist determines in its way, according to his own convictions, his career, his culture, his sensibility, a way to express themselves and want to represent the world.

Hello everyone!
After this summer under the sun and beneficial to all I hope.
It is time we returned back to this and start a new year full of colors and designs.
As you know the studio will reopen the doors of the gateways Monday, September 20, 2010 .
Some news and reminders for this autumn 2010 ...
- WORK AND OPEN WORKSHOP ...
I inform you that very important renovations were started in the building (building, plumbing, electrics etc ...)
So do not be surprised Arriving at the workshop by all the scaffolds.
Some small inconvenience for a beautiful place all brand new then ...
I assure you, this work should not disrupt the smooth running of the workshop.
However, I decided for the same reasons to cancel my participation in unusually open Ménilmontant this year.
courses will therefore be maintained Monday, September 27.

PROBATION AND ACRYLIC PAINTING MEDIUMS (beginners-advanced)
Monday 5 July to Friday, July 9, 2010 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Beginners initiated or confirmed, this course is open to all.
The objective of this course is to enable you to deepen or become familiar with the practice of painting in acrylic and encourage your individual creativity.
After a short introduction, or I will explain some basic rules of painting with acrylics.
You start by discovering how to build your work and to sketch an outline. emphasis of this course is on different stages construction of your work:
-art
(achievement of flat areas, washes, material effects, the smear job ,...)
-color
(research and composition of your "palette")
-handling tools
(different types of brushes and other tools and their uses and various possible with acrylic paint)
Different -acrylic medium
(presentation and use of different mediums possible to optimize the practice of acrylic paint.)
-You will be accompanied in the different stages.
You will work on canvas canvas board and / or "special paper for painting."
Maximum number of participants: 7 participants
Price: 250 euros internship
The equipment is fully provided by the workshop
STAGE PAINTING KNIFE
From Monday, July 19, 2010 Friday July 23, 2010 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

The emphasis is on work and material handling products wheelbase.

This course is open to all. Beginner or confirmed, it is an excellent foundation in your arts learning.
In a friendly atmosphere and small group, we will learn to make sketches outdoors.
The objective of this course is to learn to observe, only focus essentially isolate a detail in a landscape, understanding space, soak up the atmosphere ...
But also familiarize yourself with light, shadows, shades, short cuts, prospects, plans, volumes, ...
We will work on sketchbook in pencil and black colors, pen, pencil, chalk, chalk and for those who wish to watercolor.

As you probably know the Workshop on Bridges blown a candle on 1 April. So students, trainees, alumni, basically all those who participated and contributed to the start of this beautiful art adventure! I therefore propose we meet together Monday, May 25 from 8:30 p.m. to celebrate it around a nice little meal at the restaurant! So
